Life expectancy is one of the biggest advantages of LiFePO4. Our batteries are rated to last 5,000+ cycles, which equates to 10 years or more depending on usage.
Even after their optimum lifespan, our batteries continue to function at ~70% capacity. Better still, you can safely discharge our batteries past 80% without issue, whereas lead acid batteries are at risk of releasing hazardous gases and/or presenting fire and explosion risks if charged incorrectly, overcharged, or discharged past 50%.

LiFePO4 batteries provide 100% of their rated capacity regardless of discharge rate. Lead acid batteries should only be discharged to 50% state of charge (SoC), meaning its usable capacity is only half of its rated capacity. For example, if you have a 100Ah lead acid battery, you should only use 50Ah of energy before recharging.

LiFePO4 batteries charge 4-6x faster than sealed lead-acid (SLA), which are notoriously slow and have a lower efficiency energy conversion (~80%). Faster charge times and 97%+ energy conversion for LiFePO4 batteries means less time running your generator or searching for the sun for your solar panels.
LiFePO4 batteries don't require active maintenance to extend their service life and have an extremely low self-discharge rate when not in use (1-3% per month). In contrast, lead acid batteries have a high self-discharge rate (15-30% per month) and require float / trickle charging in storage to avoid sulfation and battery life loss / failure.
